Background of the Study
Burn victims often experience severe pain, and managing this pain is essential to their recovery. Nurses play an important role in providing pain relief and ensuring that burn patients receive appropriate care. This study assesses the role of nurses in improving pain relief for burn victims in Kaduna State hospitals.
Statement of the Problem
Burn pain management requires both pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions. Nurses are often the primary healthcare providers for burn victims, but challenges such as inadequate pain relief protocols and resource constraints can limit their ability to provide optimal care. This study explores how nurses can improve the quality of pain relief in burn victims.
